Paul Ogbonnaya Idika

Paul Idika as an Associate in the Firm. A committed legal professional in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team with strong interests in Commercial Practice, Technology Law, Employment Law, Medical Law, Maritime Law, Intellectual property Law, and international Human Rights Law. Paul is a highly motivated, analytical and detail-oriented professional. He excels at reviewing legal issues and providing strategic solution to legal problems. Since joining the firm, Paul has worked closely with the Founding Partner in several high profile cases and has significant experience in handling complex commercial litigation and arbitration. He is an intelligent courtroom advocate making legal representations in superior courts across Nigeria in disputes relating to criminal, arbitration, insolvency and commercial litigation matters. In his university days, Paul was the president of the Students’ Environmental Assembly of Nigeria (SEAN), UNIBEN Chapter- 2019, and as a skilled writer, while in the University of Benin, he authored the book “the Strength in Weakness”, published in 2018. In the year 2024, he was decorated with an award of International Human Rights and Humanitarian Ambassador by Kingsland Humanitarian Foundation (KHF) in recognition of his advocacy in defense of Human Rights. He holds Certification in Commercial Mediation for the 21st Century Lawyer, Certification in Medical Law and Ethics from the African Centre for Health & Medical Jurisprudence, Certification in International Maritime Law, Certification in international Oil & Gas Law, Certification in international Criminal Law, Certification in International Environmental Law, and Certification in International Contract Law. Paul obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Benin and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
